Meet Dr. Sara Katz

For Dr. Katz, dentistry is the perfect blend of art and medicine. She is passionate about improving patients’ lives through functional care while also creating beautiful smiles that boost confidence. As the daughter of a dentist, she saw firsthand the difference a caring provider can make. With an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a DDS from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, she is well prepared to serve the oral health needs of patients in Bedford Hills.
Life Outside the Office
Dr. Katz and her husband, Dr. Herrera, share a full life outside the office. They are overjoyed by their two-year-old son and care for four rescue dogs—Dunkin, Bentley, Dexter, and Jasper—along with three chickens. They love the outdoors, from summer hikes to winter skiing, and enjoy getting away to Vermont and New Hampshire.

Her coursework includes the 3D Dentists Digital Implant Continuum, Aesthetics 1.0, Dental Sleep Medicine, Aesthetics 2.0, Advanced PRF Education, and Adhesive Rehabilitation, Minimal Tooth Preparation.
Dr. Katz is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the 9th district dental association. She remains committed to expanding her skills so patients at Bedford Dental Care receive the most advanced care available in the region.
